That god, having the brilliance (resplendence) of a hundred Suns, the Vinayaka who bestows fruit bearing bows, the protector of those in difficulty,  who is the lamp that removes sins and (mental) blindness, who is the wish-yielding (tree) of those who supplicate (unto Him), who is the god of gods and who is the ferry to cross the ocean of birth and death, the fire that burns the forest of demons, the beloved of Sri Venkataramana, who is the One who has controlled His senses and the munificent and infinite bestower of grace, (I worship).
