Pallavi
I bow down to Sri Hari, who is the killer of Narakasura, who is the lion-man (Narasimha) and who is Narayana.
Anupallavi
O! The Lord of humans, kinnaras, gods, demons, snakes, birds and the movable and immovable!
Caranam
O! The One whose feet are like the infant Sun and the lotus, with the lustre of the rays of precious gems, the One whose eyes resembling the lotus is full of mercy (for the devotees), one who grants the wishes of those who supplicate in front of Him, who strikes terror in the hearts of enemies, One whose pace is lovely as the gait of the elephant, to that Venkataramana (I bow down in supplication).
