Once, a little boy went to take a dip in the nearby lake at ThiruppukkoLiyur and was eaten alive by a crocodile. After a year, SundharamUrthy NAyanAr, one of the Four Great Saivites, came to the barren lake and heard about the death of the boy. He sang AvinAsi Pathikam whereupon the lake was filled with water. The crocodile came to the bank of the lake and spat the boy alive, with one year's growth in the body too! AruNagirinAthar asks MurugA to teach him the secret of this miracle. |
